CORRINNE'S COMMENTS ABOUT THIS PIECE
"This piece is a depiction of my own process when trying to sort through and analyze obsessive thoughts. There are many different personas which are entered and which take different sides, creating a discussion that can either find clarity or create discussion. First I painted the wood a mix of red tones, which creates an intense atmosphere, and then I drew the faces over the paint, with a black marker."

CORRINNE'S STORY
"I grew up in Alexandria, Virginia, and spent a lot of time downtown in DC attending shows at The 9:30 Club, The Black Cat and U-Street music hall. So my work is highly influenced by musicians and psychedelic rock. A lot of my work now focuses around anxiety and the process of confronting it. I still have a lot to figure out for myself and working through my anxiety with art is extremely important and beneficial."
