“Summertime is always the best of what might be.” In this piece, Pina Loves uses her mastered craft of brush stroke techniques and color choice to communicate her constant yearning for the summer season. The combination of color and stroke portrays the feelings of both nostalgia and anticipation. As in her other works, the emotions she is communicating apply not just to her situation, but are universal.

PINA'S STORY

Pina Loves is an established artist currently living in Québec, Canada. Her art focuses on abstractly defining experiences and emotions that we have as people today. Using this connection, her two main goals as an artist are to help people bring meaningful and fulfilling changes into their lives, and to ensure her work enriches and beautifies another person's outlook on something in the world. 

"Every painting I create begins like a meditation and is influenced by a combination of thoughts emotions and intuition of the moment. I witness and observe myself through the marks made on paper. It's a meditative and reflective process. My journey is one of constant growth and change, both in my life and my work."
