ABOUT THIS PIECE

In this piece, Pina Loves uses her mastered craft of brush stroke techniques and color choice to share her curiosity of what our world and life might be. A combination of both warm and cool colors are used to represent different sides of these feelings. The cool symbolizing her occasional doubts, her worries, and her unanswered questions. The warm symbolizes her feelings of comfort. When looked at as one, the colors come together to provoke uneasy feelings. "Is all that we see or seem but a dream within a dream?"

PINA'S STORY

Pina Loves is an established artist currently living in Québec, Canada. Her art focuses on abstractly defining experiences and emotions that we have as people today. Using this connection, her two main goals as an artist are to help people bring meaningful and fulfilling changes into their lives, and to ensure her work enriches and beautifies another person's outlook on something in the world. 

"Every painting I create begins like a meditation and is influenced by a combination of thoughts emotions and intuition of the moment. I witness and observe myself through the marks made on paper. It's a meditative and reflective process. My journey is one of constant growth and change, both in my life and my work."
